OMG, this is EXACTLY the recipe I have been looking for! I made my mother-in-law's recipe for "galamad" last year at Christmas, and she said it was good but needed more garlic. And I followed her recipe EXACTLY!

Her recipe called for 2 pounds calamari, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, 3 cloves minced garlic, juice of 1 large lemon and salt and pepper to taste.

I will use her recipe but improve it with parts of yours by using 1 lb. calamari (instead of the 2 lbs in her recipe) and 6 cloves of minced garlic (instead of the 3 in my current recipe). I am still debating about the lime juice vs. the lemon juice. I will make a trial run of this with the lime juice BEFORE I take the dish to my husband's cousins on Christmas Eve. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INSPIRATION! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
